Update

Hi guys I posted on here about having constantly bleeding ect and how it all started when I started the pill and the doctors told me to stop taking them which I already did. They put on tablets to stop me from bleeding it didn't happen. So I have a doctors appointment on the 4th and I'm going to have examination done and some swaps. I'm not sure if this means that I will have a Samir test done? I've never had one as I'm only 22 but was wondering what everyone expectations was?

  • Hello Jessica22,

It very much sounds like starting the pill triggered this constant bleeding but it seems to be taking a while to stop. It's good the doctors are being thorough and that they will take some swabs and do a proper examination. I am not sure whether they will do a smear test as you are only 22 and those are routinely offered after the age of 25 but rest assured that whatever the doctor decides, you will be in good hands and that they will be doing everything they can to make sure that they resolve this bleeding issue.

Try not to worry too much and trust the doctors as I am sure they will get to the bottom of this problem. It won't be long now before they examine you and I am keeping everything crossed for you!
