Hi I have recently underwent Colon Capsule Endoscopy and received results of normal, nothing abnormal detected. 
 

history- I'm 34 yr old female with ongoing bowel changes since January, a lot of mucus and urgency at times, recently less mucus however still variable bowel habits, I have lower abdominal cramps and also localised pain to the upper left side of my abdomen, experience this daily. 
 

GP requested a qfit test and the result was 229 and I am now low in iron and I'm waiting further blood tests to see what treatment the gp will start as last bloods were taken in June. There was no inflammation markers at that point. 
 

I am thankful nothing was seen on the endoscopy capsule camera but was also disheartened that nothing was seen to explain my ongoing issues. 
has anyone had the capsule endoscopy and found it had missed something?
