I've been in extreme pain for a while. Stomach, ribs, hip, shoulder. Nausea, intense pain when eating. Exhaustion, sweating. 

Blood tests at doctors show an issue with my spleen. Apparently there's no infection and my liver is ok.

She didn't say much else except that she had called the hospital to confirm the results before referring me urgently to see a hemotology specialist. 

I assume the next step at that appointment would be another blood test? 

I'm not really sure what they're looking for. Feeling a bit in the dark.
