Hi

I'm not sure if this is appropriate but I have unexpectedly been told and subsequently had blood test for ovarian cancer. Totally sledged me mentally. I wondered if anyone had any advice for keeping a level head. It could end up being something totally different but I am wondering how others went through this uncertainty. Many thanks

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's never easy when there is this uncertainty and waiting for information. It can sometimes help to try to keep busy and to focus on things you enjoy as much as possible in an effort to help keep your mind off things.

    Try to take things a day at a time and once you have the information you need you will at least have the answers and any next steps.

    Hopefully you'll receive further replies here if others have advice to offer.
