CT Colonography

Just wondering if anybody else had experienced pain when having a CT Colonography? I have been experiencing pain in lower left quadrant and had one today...no real problems until the procedure sent air into the area where it is hurting when and became very uncomfortable...just wondering what other peoples experiences have been?

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some investigations recently. It's obviously a worrying time for you. 

    From what I've read here on the forum it's not uncommon for people to experience some discomfort when the gas is used to inflate the bowel. Hopefully, this has settled for you now but if you're still in any pain or worried then do speak to your GP or call 111 over the weekend. 

    I hope you have some reassuring news from the results.
