I was due my smear test last year, but lockdown due to COVID had started just the day before my appointment and they sent me home. 2 months later I discovered I was pregnant. I finally had my smear done at the end of Mar (2021). The results came back HPV positive with abnormal cells. I've had my coloscopy cancelled and rebooked 5 times since then. I am finally having it done (hoping it doesn't get cancelled again) on Monday. I have tried to stay positive as I know that most of the time, things turn out fine. However, a week ago a discovered a lump on my labia minora on the left side. It's a hard, pea size lump that doesn't really hurt unless I squeeze it. It's swollen the entire left side 4x that of the right side. I'm having really dull aches in my lower region, and have noticed a little bit of blood when not on my period. Obviously I'm going to inform the doctor doing my coloscopy on Monday, but my mind is racing!! I have an 8 year old and a nearly 7 month old. I'm 29. Has anyone had anything like this? If so, what was the outcome? Good or bad. I'm preparing myself for the worst but desperately hoping for the best!
