I'm 19 and have been experiencing episodes of BV and thrush which seem to get treated and then come back within a few weeks. I experience bleeding and painful cramps after intercourse. I have been bleeding or have had blood in my discharge everyday for three weeks. Tampons cause a pain deep inside and my right hip feels hurting constantly. I'm so worried I have cervical cancer when I go to the doctors they tell me they think I have an STD but or course the tests come back negative. I'm waiting for a doctor to ring me back next week to discuss whether they feel they need to examine my cervix as there is no cause for the bleeding. Is this the same as a smear and will they take swab and will it show cancer? Sorry I just can't stop thinking about it. I am also on the pill and have been for a while xx
