Hi everyone,
My Father's been going through a series of tests (Colonoscopy, chest x-rays for example) due to being diagnosed as anemic.
All prior tests have come up as negative, however his chest x-ray brought something up for the consultant to schedule in a CT scan for the same week. CT scan went through on last Friday, and he got the call yesterday for a diagnosis appointment due tomorrow.
Now he's had no biopsies and does have existing issues with his breathing (COPD for example), I'm just wondering whether lung cancer can be diagnosed without a biopsy? I think we're naively hanging onto this idea that it could be something other than cancer, but as we all know, we just have no idea until the diagnosis is completed.
Best wishes :)
