thank you so so much for your reply i am not gonna lie mg head is going absolutely crazy waiting for my CA 125 blood test results , and google doctor is the worst The thing is that my legs are constantly getting numb sometimes i get bit of pain where the actual cyst is and my lower back ( only left side ) . I guess what really freaked me out that my gynaecologist told me that the fact that this cyst didnt dissapear and continued growing was worrying her also the abnormal cloth on it so now i am thinking of the worst .

I'm pretty sure cysts can grow really big. I used to be in terrible pain. If you have pcos then it's pretty normal to have ovaries covered in cysts. My opinion is that the miscarriage has messed up your cycle. 

Hello. Please Do not Google... it will cause increased anxiety levels, stress and worry. Most experiences on there are worst case scenario! I also googled trust me, I'm a level headed person and it scared me so I'm hoping by sharing this it'll help someone!
 

Here is my story... so the start of the pandemic I had an internal examination as I was not conceiving. I do not have children but want a child, so I had investigations and had  blood tests and they were okay. I then had the delightful internal wand ... and they found a large cyst on one ovary and a smaller one on the other. I had a waiting game then to see if my bloods showed cancer, they didn't but the cyst was large and after another wand scan and further mri scans and CT scans and loads of bloods I was then brought to see a consultant . In terms of symptoms I had a frequent need to urinate - like really bad and urgent. I also felt my sides and stomach were very uncomfortable and swollen. But I wasn't in ' agony' it just hurt to lie down. 

 I met the most amazing consultant. I explained that I wanted children. He listened to me; put in a plan and I was able to ask all my questions. I found the ultrasound scans hard. Very hard. I had to sit in rooms with women getting their baby scans done and that was heartbreaking. I would cry when I went home, feeling awful that I was placed in a room with people who had everything I wanted. 

I had my mri scans and CT scans. This was to see if the cysts had caused other problems. Also, I was told to not do anything that could cause the cysts to rupture as that would be a big problem. 
The consultant decided that I couldn't have key hole surgery but I needed open surgery. So I had a laposcopy.
I was in an operation for a few hours and  they cut me open from my belly button to my pubic bone. The wound is large but I'm glad to say that it's out of sight from people.  They removed the cysts ( one was a concern and grew to the size of a watermelon ) it was classed as a mature dermoid, they removed a smaller one too size of a golf ball. They checked my tubes, ovaries, womb etc. All fine so I didn't have anything else removed.

I had an enhanced recovery, excellent care from the NHS and was out of hospital and walking around in two days. Support from physio and nurses. Thankfully,  I had my periods as normal. 
After 12 weeks I had my pathology results. All fine , no further investigations and I was discharged.
At the appointments I was asking about the why. Why me... why is this happening to me, what have I done wrong etc and I was worried that I had PCOS, endometriosis etc etc but my surgeon said once he had operated that I didn't have anything like that. My surgeon is also one of the top ones in the country so he knows his stuff. He said to crack on and not to worry and get on with my life.
 

So I hope that reading this shows that yes it's a worrying time. I know that I was worried all the time. I was upset, stressed and anxious as I googled and it was worst case scenario. I remember reading some American blog about how this girl had gone into hospital and they'd removed everything! I know before my surgery I also explained that I wanted my fertility to be kept. I was clear at every single consultation even the morning of the surgery I also made it clear of my wishes. They said they'd do all they can to preserve everything. 
I am proof that despite having a whooping massive cyst on one ovary and a smaller one on another that it doesn't mean that you have to have everything removed. Also there's hope. My tubes, both of my ovaries, my womb etc are all in full working order now and I hope that reading this gives you hope that it's a blooming hard time full of hospital visits and worry. At the end of it all, it's not the worst case scenario and I'm proof that I had them removed and now I'm fine. I was also told that I just need to crack on with trying for a baby again.
