Hello everyone,
This is my first post here, but I've been having a whirlwind of the last few weeks, mostly relating to my Dad.
He's been diagnosed with aenemia and other symptoms (tiredness etc) which are usually associated with Cancer. He's always tired, shortage of breath for the most part. Fortunuatley he's gone through the usual tests for stomach, bowel, prostate etc and all have come back negative.
Unfortunately, on his very last test which was a chest x-ray the consultant flagged some issues and requested for a CT scan to be done, this happened to occur on the very same week which seemed unusually fast.
Got through the CT scan on the Friday, and then already today he's been invited to a hospital meeting/appointment to go over the results tomorrow, which again seems very close. I just want to know whether the such suddeness of everything usually means that the results are quite bad? Of course, it could be anything at all, and Cancer is just one of the many issues which he may have, but the quick succession of everything is just leaving us with a permanant depression on the household and it's quite scary to think what if...
