Hi, I am 22 years old and have a 3 year old son.
I've been experiencing mild to heavy bleeding for the last 8-9 weeks now. I normally have my periods on time most months but a few months before I started bleeding they were irregular. 
I have gone to the doctors they have done a urine test, given me a smear, and took my bloods all have come back fine nothing there. I have another appointment this week I have had to make as they tried to palm me off as if it was nothing. 
I have pain occasionally like a period cramp, I have previously had extreme discomfort during intercourse. I am not sexually active at the minute and haven't been for the whole 8 weeks. I haven't been on any form of contraception since January/ February which was when my injection run out. 
I'm not sure if I need to be worried but I'm stressing over what it could possibly be. I have been under a lot of stress these past weeks with family problems but my doctor said that wouldn't cause this amount of bleeding for so long. I just need some help or advice as to what it could be or if someone else is in the same position.
