Hi I has a biopsy last Tuesday they said I had a 3cm solid mass slightly irregular they said they couldn't tell what it was as breast tissue was very think and they told me it could be absolutely anything.  I'm coming to the end breastfeeding and the lump came up large from nowhere as I check my breasts.  Does anyone know what benign conditions cause this

    I'm sorry the biopsy wasn't able to give you any answers but fingers crossed more tests will be carried out and you'll be able to find out what this mass is soon.

    No doubt this will be playing on your mind until you find out more but I hope it helps to know that many members of our community have been in a similar position so will understand how you may be feeling at the moment and will hopefully be along soon to offer their support and advice.

    In the meantime, we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed this mass is no cause for concern.
