Hi,
Could anyone that has had a pelvic MRI clarify if their whole body went in or just waist down (arms and upper body not in MRI)?
Thank you

Just thought i'd stop by and share our information on what to expect when you have an MRI scan. There is a really good video on the page which hopefully will put your mind at rest
Best wishes

Hi
I have had many pelvic mri scans. Go in feet first and your head is not in the scanner, but for every scan my upper body and arms were inside.
Ho Minska,
Thank you for replying. I had a spinal MRI in February and although I'm not claustrophobic or an anxious person, I had major panic while in it! Hopefully with it being a pelvic one they can put less of me in
Best wishes
Hi Sprinkleaday
I do feel claustrophobic so I struggle a bit with it, but I found that wearing an eye mask was helpful, and my head was not in the machine at all. Usually it took 40-45 minutes for me. Perhaps less of you will need to go in than for me..I hope it goes well for you and isn’t too much of an ordeal. x
