Mammogram call back

Hi, I had my mammogram just over a week ago, this is the 3rd year after my lumpectomy for a dcis. I have had a call back for another mammogram and ultrasound, and really worried it's returned!! The mammogram was more painful than normal on that breast as I said ouch when she did, so I don't know if that's why I'm going back or if they have seen a change again. Having to wait till Monday 19th to have it done is driving me nuts with worry. Anyone else had similar? X

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been recalled after your recent mammogram. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about what could be going on but it's good to know that you've got an appointment next week. Hopefully whoever does the tests on Monday will be able to give you some information but in the meantime, you could give the breast care nurses a call and ask them for some information about the recall. They should have access to your recent mammogram and may be able to give you some information and reassurance.
