Hi Everyone, 

I'm 22 and have always had inverted nipples. I noticed a lump in my right breast, as well as my breasts appearing to be lumpier than they have previously been so after a lot of anxiety, I finally booked an appointment. I had a breast examination from a nurse who said the lump didn't appear to be smooth and that she was referring me to the breast clinic, which for me is 100 miles away. 
 

I have a friend that will travel with me however I'm feeling super nervous and although I went in expecting the worst as a coping mechanism, the reality is now proving to be a lot tougher. Does anyone have any advice surrounding a breast clinic examination? Will it be similar to my doctors visit? 
 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated to help soothe my nerves a little!
