Lump on the back of my knee

Hi, has anybody got any advice they can help me with please? 
 

basically, I've had a really really bad achy leg now for months & noticed a lump on the back of my knee. I went to the doctors and they said it was a bakers cyst but did an ultrasound the week after & are now saying it's not a cyst. I had an appointment booked for the gp to discuss my results on the 29th of this month but I've rang them as I'm worried sick so they said they'll get a district nurse to ring me on Friday to discuss the results. The lump hasn't gone down and just seems it's getting bigger

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some problems with your knee recently. It's understandable that you're feeling worried but I'd try to take some positivity from the fact that the GP didn't want to speak to you with any urgency following the ultrasound results. 

    Hopefully, the District Nurse will be able to give you some information and reassurance when you speak to them on Friday and you'll have a  plan to manage whatever this lump is and the problems that it's giving you.
