I am in the same position as you.  Had a routine mammogram a month ago after just turning 50. Had a letter back to say further investigation needed,  I wasnt worried as I know I have cysts as I found a lump 10 years ago which was drained. Went for the call back and felt like someone had hit me with a truck when they suddenly took a biopsy under mammogram for calcifications. I have my appointment tomorrow for the results but this last week has been awful for me as my anxiety levels have gone through the roof. When is your appointment for your results?

Hi [@Jane71]‍ i have no appointment as yet, I was told two to three weeks wait for my results it's been really hard but have kept really busy!! It's two weeks on Wednesday since my biopsies the wait is pure torture!! They didn't put a marker after biopsy for me one of the nurses asked if the other nurse wanted one putting in but she said no, so I don't know what this means either. They did find another lump too under calcifications but said she thought nothing would come back from the biopsy of this! She also offered  me a breast care nurse too but I declined as I was in total shock at the time and thought I had nothing to ask!! Feel different now but I have waited this long and got through it so might as well just wait and see now. Please let me know how you get on Jane. I'll be thinking of you.
