I've been having severe headaches since New Year and really didn't think much of it at the time. I am 29 years old
I thought maybe it was just anxiety from lockdown and the emotional impact of loosing close relatives and a friend to Covid.
I recently had a skin fade haircut after a a long time and noticed a lump at the back of my head (on occipital bone) and immediately went to A&E.
The Dr at A&E looked at it briefly and chatted about the symptoms and mentioned it looks like a cyst and asked me to visit my GP to arrange an ultrasound to confirm.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced the same, but it feels impossible to make GP appointments unless it's really critical?
I suffer severe headaches, tiredness, high blood pressure and occasional blurred vision. Sometimes I feel I can't stand up for too long without the need to sit down.
I'm beginning to feel hopeless in my own pain and thinking if this is how I am supposed to live till who knows when.
Paracetamol doesn't seem to ease the pain at all.
Contacted the GP on numerous occasions and absolutely nothing. The first time I rang, the receptionist didn't even log my phonecall. I went back a week later and the receptionist still did not forward my A&E report to the GP to check. It was briefly mentioned I would need routine blood tests and possibly an ultrasound (& didn't say when).
Covid has ruined so much and I guessing that I am not the only one struggling with this :(
