2nd opinion on a removed growth tag

Hi All listening or participating in this forum. I have never been involved in such a platform of debate and I welcome the posts I have seen as helpful and informative. 
I recently 24/06/21 had a small tag like growth removed from behind my ear by the dermatologist at an NHS hospital here in  Kent. I have just been informed by my GP that the results show no cancer. This is good news but I would like to have a second opinion but not sure how you would request this from the NHS. Has anyone out there dealt with this type of situation. I don't want to be seen to be making unnecessary demands upon the NHS in this time of pandemic but have a nagging doubt. When I first submitted my photos of my growth to the GP they said it may be a cancer but would need further investigation. I have now had that and feel better but still unsure. 
I think the NHS has responded so well to the pandemic demands that I feel reluctant to impose any other request upon them. Anyway. Any ideas on this please.

    Hi Nick,

    I can understand how you feel now you have your results but what is worrying you about the histology result? I don't know how you would go about getting a tissue sample tested again by another histology department so you get a second opinion. I think the first thing to do is to ask your consultant for a copy of the histology report (which you are entitled to request). I would then go along to my GP and ask to discuss it with them, asking for their suggestion as to what any terminology means that you don't understand and how you can request another histology check. It may be that you would have to pay privately for it to be done, if it's possible to do.
