Having PMB after last year having overuse tubes removed so scared at 66 waiting for colposcopy it to 2 weeks fast track ! May I ask do the colposcopy team do treatment or do you have to go in as in patient just panicking thank you Amy advice welcome
I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting on a hospital appointment at the moment following some post-menopausal bleeding. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious.

Whether the team will be able to offer any kind of treatment on the day very much depends on what they find. For example, if someone was attending for a colposcopy following an abnormal smear then it may be that the Consultant is also able to treat at the same time. Or it may be that the team is able to take a biopsy at the time of appointment.
We know that waiting for tests and results can be difficult and it's natural to feel worried about things.
