A very warm welcome to our forum, although I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms. You Have done the right thing in getting this checked out. I have had 2 bouts of cancer resulting from lumps under my breast. The first of these was found 12 years ago when I had just turned 60.

This is a worrying time, but not all lumps are cancerous and only 1 person in 8 who attend the breast clinic will get a cancer diagnosis. I am glad to hear that you don't have too long to wait for your appointment, as the wait can feel interminable. Try to keep yourself preoccupied as much as possible, as this helps to make the time pass more quickly.
