I go for my mammograms every three years and check my breasts regularly. I had a mamnagram recently and received in the post a recall. I have never felt so sick and distraught. I'm in total shock. Has anyone else had the same
Hi, I went for my first mammogram last year aged 47 as part of a trial to see if screening should be done earlier......I was shocked to get a recall and even more shocked when at the appointment they highlighted a suspicious area and did several biopsies there and then. I was so lucky and relieved that the result came back as normal calcification, but the worry in the meantime was awful and I can fully sympathise with you. I know when I go for my next routine mammogram I will be completely worried again regardless. I do hope you get a positive outcome from your appointment and will keep everything crossed for you xx
