Hi good morning.

tomorrow I have an MRI on my spine with contrast...I'm needle phobic beyond belief and also quite claustrophobic.

Do you have any advice on what they entail and does it scan your entire body or just spine?

Hello Luke,
I noticed you hadn't yet received a reply to your message and I imagine you will have had your MRI by now. I hope it went ok and that you didn't feel too claustrophobic? I also hope that the needle phobia wasn't too much of an issue for you and that everything went well.

Hi hope it went well for you. I had a liver scan today with contrast. Took 20 mins, for me it was having to hold my arms above my head for so long, was quite painful on my arms and neck.

Hi thanks all for the replies!

I had it done I was told it was going to take 45 minutes, but it was 1 hour and 10 minutes I don't know if that's a good sign or not!

For the first time yesterday's ( Thursday ) MRI scan was stopped mid way through . being told not to worry about half a dozen times, Has got me worried. the reason I was given was the scanner was too powerfull and wasn't giving a clear image. That's a new one on me. I must try remember that one. :-)
