Large hard breast lump in upper outer quadrant

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and extend a warm hello to whoever is reading this post.

Around 10 days ago I found a large, hard, irregular shaped lump on the outer quadrant of my right breast.

I've tried measuring it and it seems to be around 4 cm x 2 cm.

I noticed it prior to my period and it has since stayed, possibly even changed shape a little extending towards my armpit (it's not very round and the extension part feels a little like a twig stuck in a walnut).

It does not move around the breast and is visible with my arms up and down.

Over the past two days I've had some sharp armpit pains come and go although they don't last long. There also seems to be tiny little spots appearing on the skin above the lump (8 to be exact).

Phoned my GP 4 days ago and had a phone consultation the same day, She said she wanted to call me in on the day for an urgent checkup, as my mother's had 2 sets of breast cancers in the past, but can only book me in for Friday 2nd June. So, I'm waiting...

I know nothing can be said for certain until I actually see my GP, however just wanted to ask if anybody else has had a similar experience with pre-diagnosis?

I'm 29 and work a lot. I should normally be away for a project on the date of my appointment so I'm not quite sure how to talk with work or explain the situation, without a proper diagnosis.

Apologies for the lengthy paragraph and any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nes x
