Hi hoping someone could help please!

For the past 4/5 months i have been spotting on and off, bleeding between periods, bleeding after sex, sex is sometimes painful, and constantly feeling sick. Went to my gp who done a smear and pelvic exam she said she thinks i have cervical eptropion (erosion) but not too sure! She has referred me to a gynaecologist, have an ultrasound scan on thursday and blood test on monday, also waiting for my smear results. Any help or feedback woukd be great, Thankyou! xx

    Hi, 

    I can only speak from my own personal experience since I have no medical training. It seems like cervical issues are pretty common and are not always sinister. You are doing the right thing in following up on your symptoms and getting to the bottom of things. If it is something, you can come up with a plan of action. If it isn't, you can move on. The best thing is that the worry will off your mind and you can move on. Knowing is so much better than worrying!

    Yeah i agree i can't stop worrying about it now i'm only 28, panicking iv got cancer of some sort. Thankyou for ur reply much appreciated xx
