I waited about 10 days for my appointment. They are excellent here in Scotland. I didn't even get a biopsy in England! Just antibiotics...

I went last August after finding a lump and only had my appointment today. You'll definitely not have a wait that long because usually its only two weeks or so.

Please don't worry yourself, chances are it's nothing and worrying doesn't help, belive me, I've been stressed for a veery long time haha.

It was all fine thankfully. I'm in the Scottish Borders and the hospital here is seriously backed up, they're getting through them now but honestly, it was awful that I, or anyone else had to wait that long. 

She said it was completely out the ordinary and usually in Scotland they're really speedy so hopefully your appointment will come through quickly, just try to stay calm, write down how you're feeling if that helps, remember it's most likely nothing to worry about and doctors have to take these things seriously and get you checked and stay away from googling anything!! I've worried myself enough for a lifetime with googling symptoms haha

Thankfully got my appointment through post today. Another 12 days to wait.

I haven't told anyone! Not allowed anyone at appointment so didn't see the point of worrying any of my family until I needed too.did anyone else go on their own? 

Exactly why I want to go on my own! I don't want people fussing & looking worried, I seriously can't cope with that I'd snap lol 

LOL -  think people mean well but I quickly realised it wasn't helping me. 

PS - I'm in Scotland too :happy:

So today was the day, 2cm tumour which looks isolated biopsies taken now another week to wait for a treatment plan

Sorry to hear they found a tumour. Have they gave you any further insight? Did you have all the tests done?

I've just received my letter to attend the breast clinic next Friday after my GP found a lump on Monday when I was at doctors for something completely different. I'm frantic at the moment 37 with a two year old son and fiancee. 

I'm also in Scotland. I'm sending best wishes and positive thoughts for the next stage for you xxx
