Hi jenn

I got a letter today for an appointment with the gastroenterology department on the 21st of July (another 4 weeks away!)

But says, absolutely nothing about an endoscopy.( the gp said i need one after the ct scan) 

I'm at a loss to what's happening. Its been to long Jenn. If it's Cancer aren't they delaying it. I'm scared.

I've only ever spoke with my gp over the phone.

Now he's on holiday so I'm going to have to speak with someone else.

It's good to hear that you now have a date with the specialist. Although it's a few weeks away it gives you a focus to know when you will have some news. 

Have you spoken with our team of nurses at all Fallmare? If not I'd really encourage you to talk to give them a call and chat things through with them. You may find that they're able to answer some of your more general questions and give you some reassurance about things. They're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040. 

I know it's difficult but try to stay positive. Take each day at a time and if a day feels like too much, then take things hour by hour.
