Hi!
I'm a female, 40, and my ophthalmologist requested an MRI as I've symptoms suggesting something might be compressing my optical nerve.
I'm terrified. I won't be taking bad news gracefully. Passing out in the middle of a panic attack is the most likely scenario.
Were you offered any mental health support when dealing with adverse results? I'm genuinely afraid of how I might react to bad news once I leave the doctors office and I'm left to my own devices.
This is a new level of fear, I think it'll change me no matter what the results are.
Love to all - will update tomorrow.
