The MDT brings together all the people potentially involved in your care to come to a decision on treatment going forward. Being scared is very understandable and natural, but you do not know what they will decide so it’s too early to think you may be beyond helping..especially if you haven’t had a diagnosis-my apologies, I’m not sure if you have?
I have had cancer twice in the last 3 years and truly, absolutely been through the mill with treatment and life changing surgery, which means I will never be the same again. But I’m alive! And I never lost hope. I was positive and took everything a day at a time, an appointment at a time. We are all scared of the unknown, we’re human, but we also have a huge capacity to want to live in my experience. Do you know when you will hear about the MDT meeting?
