I'm sorry to hear of your worries and I can completely understand that this must be unsettling. It's good that you've got this checked out and that you have the referral. Hopefully it won't be long now before you find out more about this.

Try not to assume anything at this point - I'd suggest making a note of any questions you have and then discussing these at your appointment. In the meantime try to keep your mind off things and keep busy as much as possible - I know this can be easier said than done.
