MRI results back after 3 days, is that good or bad?

Hi all, I had an mri done on the 14th of June for chronic pain in my back which has been going on for nearly a year (I'm 30) on the 17th they rang me and said I have an appointment on the 1st to speak to someone about my results. Now I'm freaking out, I heard its normally a pretty long wait especially with covid so I'm thinking they've found something if I'm going back in 2 weeks, or would they tell me if it was bad news sooner? Surely if it was serious they would get me in sooner? On the other hand if there wasn't anything there then I wouldn't need to go back so soon? I'm so anxious as I had a 40cm growth on my ovaries a few years ago and they thought that was cancer (it wasn't thabn god)

  • hi my mri results were back with my Dr within 24 hrs. I think as they have fewer appointments because of covid then the waiting time is less. I went for an lei, cat scan, pet scan and ultrasound all within 10 days and for every appointment I noticed the hospitals were empty. hope your results are good news and you will find that Drs have to have you in face to face to discuss results now that covid has lowered
