Hi all, hope everyone's ok.
i've had a seemingly innocent ear infection for a number of weeks probably over a month (ear canal infection) and been to doctors twice where it hasn't resovled. Last time I went I had a a large lump behind my ear more like raised bone. I've been diagnosed with bells palsy as well which I presume this lump is the cause of. Currenly on steriod tablets for 2 weeks. The mass only got picked up and investigated further by my ENT clinic at the local hosptial where I mentioned it as the GP surgery didn't help at all. Then came blood tests and MRI's and a ultrasound led biopsy behind my ear. i'm guessing it's more to do with my temporal/mastoid bone.
I got a phonecall yesterday saying that my results are back and i've got go to the clinic which is for all things cancer related beign and malligant - I googled as i'm curious but it's just filled me with dread. I've still got to wait until Tuesday which feels like a lifetime away.
i'll be 24 weeks pregnant on Tuesday as well. I just don't know what to think
has anyone else had to wait for a diagnosis when preganant? i'm trying not to stress but it's so hard. I have my partner our little 4 year old girl and work on top of everything else :neutral:
