Hi, I have been reading everyones posts over the last week trying to find some comfort and calm my emotions. Everyone is so lovely.
Im 34 with 2 children, I had some pain in my breasts and armpits for a about 6/7 weeks. I decided to wait and see if they disappeared after my period which they didn't. So I went to see my GP. He said he couldnt see or feel anything concerning but wanted me to be seen by the breast clinic under a 2 week wait.
Unfortunately my GP practice is useless and never sent my referral. So when I chased it 8 days later, they realised and it finally got sent off. I received my appointment the next day, its on Monday evening.
I know my GP said he couldn't feel any lumps but I can! Especially in the shower or using a body oil. I am so scared!! And very emotional googling everything I can think of relating to cancer at any possible chance I get!!
Whats really pushed me ove the edge is im now getting unusual pains in my hip and ribs. It comes and goes and feels sharp, and quick, like a burning sensation. Today I have started feeling them in my back too. Ive scared myself thats is secondary bone cancer.
I really dont know how I am going to cope waiting until Monday evening for my appointment.
