If you're worried or got anxiety, read it!
Been a long journey after very high readings of calceprotein twice and abnormal thickening of small intestine finally been referred to colonoscopy which I literally just got home from.
After reading comments and experiences, I was so anxious and scared to have it done.
Moviprep was OK, constant toilet visits I think that was the worst part, procedure itself I went in with no sedation or gas and air, they all looked surprised as I'm quiet skinny 26 year old. Very manageable, just slight cramps when it goes over the bends, slightly bigger discomfort where terminal ileum is where they struggled to get into so injection of buscopan was given.
Nothing found, all looks clear which is big relief and 8x biopsies taken hopefully they'll come back clear.
Before you consider unnecessary sedation please read my article, there is absolutely no pain and hopefully now I can move on with my life and not worry about my toilet habits!
