I'm glad I could be of help! In all honesty I'm so glad I went and had it done and I was done and dusted in a few hours :) the worst part for me was the taste of the moviprep, it's so salty! Take it all a day at a time :) what have your symptoms been if I may ask? Don't worry if you don't want to share!

No results as of yet :( I've since read that some people didn't get any results for 6 weeks! I do have a follow up in 4 weeks and I've been put on surveillance now so I'm going to need to have another one soon, 6 months or 12 months "depending on histology" according to the surgeon. This all sounds a bit doom and gloom to me but I'm trying to stay positive until I know for sure!

so happy to hear you have had your polyp removed by colonoscopy hopefully you get your results back as soon as possible .please try not to worry I know it's easy to say .

I had a polyp that was 35mm in size this was to large to remove by colonoscopy so ended up having it removed by keyhole surgery.

thank you for your post :) it's really hard not to worry isn't it, but I definitely do feel a lot more relaxed now it's gone. Just a waiting game to see if it's benign or not. The surgeon seemed to think it wasn't anythinguu sinister but I work for the NHS and I know I can only really rely on histology.

How are you doing after your polyp was removed? Did it go to histology? Hope you're ok x

Both times I had my bowel cancer, it was found during colonoscopies and I was told straight after the procedure.

I hope you hear back soon! Ugh yes I've been told about the drink it sounds disgusting! 

My symptoms are - frequent soft bowel movements and feeling like I never empty my bowel fully when I go, this is a big change for me because usuallt I have constipation. 

I have got a calprotecin stool test to do but I haven't had the urge to poo since I've had it in my possession, typical! I have bloods booked for next Wednesday too so I'm hoping they come back fine, did you do either of those tests too?
