Hi everyone. Im new here so heres a bit of background xxx

my husband was diagnosed with Hodgkins 2018. Did chemo. Then was all clear. Treatment was a dream success. A year later he was diagnosed with heart disease and has stents. 
2021 and hes ill again. This time with Hodgkins symptoms minus the night sweats. Same rash back on legs. Fatigue off the scale and this time all node areas around the tummy very tender. Cant eat full meals. Etc etc. Same stuff. In addition we had full bloods and his Ferritin has shot through the roof. So doctor v worried and referred him back to Haematology. 
They cant see him until 17th August due to covid backlog. 
so we are going to fund the scans ourselves as at thw rate hes getting ill it may be a lot worse by then. 
Has anyone else had this problem with referral times at all and anyone go e private for scans. Any advice much appreciated and thank you for reading my post xxx
