  • Hi James, I tend to feel ok ish in the morning but by lunch time I feel exhausted for the rest of the day. My stomach is gurgling almost none stop too at the minute, I have no idea if this is acid reflux or what

  • Hi James I'm wondering if you've any update as I'm in a Similar situation as you now , and have been told it's down to health anxiety. Awaiting CBT therapy.
    hope this finds you well.

  • Hi I just want to add that James I notice you have latched onto this thought that something sinister has got a hold of you. I have been in the same boat as you and it got worse when I lost my mum. How does it help you to believe that you are in the grip of something sinister. No James you have to acknowledge what you are experiencing just be aware of it. No judgements. Just acceptance. No resistance to what you experience right now. It is always this moment. Do not let your mind try to tell you this or that. Just be with it. Your symptoms have taught you very much but the mind is a slippery customer. It will lock you into these feelings emotions and beliefs if it can. You believe that something sinister has a grip of you. Why do you believe it is sinister and how does it help you to believe this. Also is there another way you could begin to look at it that wouldn't leave you feeling like there is something bad or wrong with you. Using a mindfulness practice could help you to let yourself experience not only your physical pains but also help you to just sit with your own thoughts and emotions and give yourself some much needed love and approval. Life is a great teacher. I'm not saying your being taught a lesson by some powerful force but you can take what you got and use it to help you move forward with a sense of love and appreciation. The very act of loving yourself and awareness will light your path. You are on a journey on uncharted Ed territory my friend I wish you all the very best.

  • Hi James

I know your post was a few months ago but I was wondering if you got anywhere , as I am the exact same as you and I'm going out of my mind with worry
