Welcome to our forum! I just wanted to wish you the best of luck for your appointment next week. I can understand why the fact that the appointment is taking place in the oncology department rather than gynaecology is making you worry a bit but try not to draw any conclusions based on this. There might be so many reasons why it is happening in this department so don't automatically assume it means anything. It's a shame your partner and daughter are unable to come with you though. 

I know it's really hard but try to keep busy and focused on other things as you are waiting to find out more and resist any temptation you may have to look online as this will inevitably bring up the worst stories and make you even more anxious.
