Hello, after attending gp yesterday with severe lower left abdomen pain, to the point I couldn't walk unaided, I was sent to hospital for assessment.
I had bloods taken which showed low white blood cells and a trace of blood in my urine and was booked back in today for a CT scan with suspected kidney stones.
CT showed a growth on my left kidney and I have to go back for another CT scan with the dye to determine exactly what it is. The registrar said 50/50 chance it's either cancer or a cyst.
Any support/advice welcome. I am terrified. I have 3 young kids. I'm also waiting on mammogram results (I've had a tender left breast for around a year that was dismissed by my surgery's anp). Mammogram was routine due to family history.
