Hi everyone,
I was hoping to vent more than anything and get some advice.
I went to the doctors last year because of a small breast lump (I've been through this before 14 years wasn't anything to worry about) the doctor referred me to the breast clinic and after 2 week I attended my appointment. The doctor told me it was just hormonal after the lump never shown on the ultrasound, I didn't feel reassured because how would it be hormonal if he couldn't see it? Fast forward to now it's been over a year I still have the lump and has grown not by much from an apple seed to a small grape. I went back to my doctor and he referred me again. I went to my appointment and the doctor said he could finally see the lump (yay) he said it's definitely not a cyst but I will need another scan but with a better scanner (he was just using a portable scanner) I waited again 2 week for my appointment attended today and I told her I've had this lump for a year but also last week I picked up my son and felt like I pulled a muscle in my breast (the same breast as the lump) she then scanned my breast and told me good news it's just glandular breast tissue with a cyst in the middle, she also said when I mentioned the pain I get in my breast muscle she knew it was nothing to worry about before she scanned me. I told her the doctor said he doesn't think it's a cyst but she said I have very lumpy breasts and it looks like one has moved to the front. I've since been researching on google (not always a great idea lol) and found it says glandular breast tissue is Fibrocystic which describes the lump as a small smooth round lump that moves easily. My lump is like a piece of gravel and an odd shape and doesn't move. So now I feel a bit confused and still concerned, I just feel like I'm going back and forth. I'm 31 btw.
I hope someone can give me peace of mind, thank you for reading! Xx
