Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle!
I am an almost 40 year old female.
I have found a small hard lump under my arm, it feels hard and a bit like a slightly squashed pea. It doesn't hurt at all.
I have also found quite a large lump or mass deep in my breast. Both armpit and breast lumps are on my left side.
Both breasts feel 'different' , certainly the left side feels thick and the right one a bit more mushy I guess.
I have an appointment with GP today at 4.45pm.
I don't have any form of relationship with my father, however I recently found out that he has had breast cancer, also my grandfather (on mums side) passed away from cancer.
I know it's early days but I can't help being concerned. I have felt very fatigued for a couple of months but that could just be everyday trials and tribulations!
The GP I am seeing is a different dr to my usual and she has been through breast cancer herself , so I am feeling hopeful that she really knows her stuff, having been there herself. My usual GP is a male and I just felt a little uncomfortable for him to cop a feel !!
hopefully it's nothing to worry about, I will update once I get back.
Thank you for reading my rambling on!
Much love xxx
