I have had chonic pelvic, stomach and lower back pain  and have had bloating for 5/6 months now. Asked for a ca-125 test because I was concerned, got a phone call to say it was raised at 53. Luckily, I so happend to have booked a private ultrasound for the next day, however, this was only abdominal because I am not sexually active. I am having an urgent NHS pelvic ultrasound done as well at some point. Concerned that NHS won't to a TV ultrasound, evening though i will consent to having it done. Feel very irrtated because i have been in pain so long im trying to desperalty find out whats causing me the pain, and i dont think NHS will do internal even though i will consent to having it done! If they refuse, do I ask for a CT instead? I know ca -125 can pick up many different things, but am concerned that for example, a simple cyst will be missed because im only having transabdominal scans!
