Hi all,
I started feeling tenderness on my right breast a week ago. A few days later, I felt around the area and found a lump about 1.5cm. I went straight to the GP who confirmed that there is a lump. She said she was not concerned about anything sinister, but referred me to the 2WW pathway.
I have a private ultrasound tomorrow because I am losing my mind a little! I keep going from 'it's nothing but a cyst, fibroadenoma' to thinking the worst.
I know that my lump being painful is a good sign in terms of it being benign, but you just never know. Also, it's not smooth or completely round which concerns me so much as apparently this points to something malignant?
I'm not sure what I'm aiming for in posting this, but I just hope I can speak to someone with a similar experience.
