Hi I had severe dyskarosis cin3 from also hpv. I had the colposcopy and a loop excision with biopsy's taken before. It's not a comfortable procedure, personally for me it was extremely painful and I had 8 injections to numb and still felt it. I was told that this is very rare though. Most people have a couple of injections (they don't hurt) and then the procedure is done with minimal discomfort. I went on to get pregnant afterwards so I don't believe it lessons your chances, I also only had one tube and ovary due to having the other removed at 27 for ovarian cancer. I've had two children despite these things. Trust me I know how worrying it can be, I would write a list of questions to ask your doctor about the procedure and risks etc. I hope all goes well

Im sorry you went through such a painful experience, But I do feel relieved now after hearing about your pregnancies. I'm going to do what you said and write all the questions I have down to ask the doctor (even though I have so many)
