I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's recent nail changes. It sounds as if it's quite uncomfortable for her and I can understand why you're worried about what may be causing the changes. 

I'm afraid that the forum terms and conditions do not allow members to post photographs but you mention that you've already spoken with the GP who was at a loss as to what may be causing her symptoms. What did the GP suggest as the next step? Do get back in touch with them if things don't improve. They may want to seek advice from a dermatologist. 

I hope that you have some answers soon and that things improve for your daughter.
