Mri lesion advice

I have been struggling since Feb with fatigue, weakness and general change in fitness. I have had cardiac problems (under control)and was having investigations to see if that was the issue but there doesn't seem to be anything obvious.  I had a cardiac mri which showed a lesion on my left breast and I had a consultant appointment and a mammogram which was clear. The question is should I believe that there's no issue or should I have another scan? Im torturing myself as I don't know what was shown on the mri. I am getting zero gp support and I am having to push constantly to try and find out what's wrong. I'm desperate and very low.

    HI Aurora,

A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear how you've been feeling. Was it a mammogram or an MRI that you had? An MRI is good for showing changes in soft tissue and, it would be unusual to miss anything with this scan.

It doesn't sound as if your consultant is worried when you were told that it was all clear. You certainly wouldn't have been told this lightly. Please don't torture yourself when you have received such good news. I am so sorry to hear that your GP is not supportive. You could always phone your consultant's secretary and explain that you don't know whether or not anything showed up on your MRI and that you need to know.

This sounds as if you should be feeling over the moon with such a result, so please get this clarified , if only for your own peace of mind.

I sincerely hope that all turns out well. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
