Breast lump - 25

Hi,

I'm 25 and have found a lump at the side of my right breast. Discovered it at the weekend (I check regularly cos of my extensive family history).

have been to Gp tonight who says she's fairly confident it's nothing, but has referred me on account of family history. 
partly feel reassured now it's been seen and by what she's said; partly panicking due to the referral. 
any advice?
