Hi all, I have a lump in my right side of neck under jawline. I saw the maxillofacial specialist and he did a scope down my nose and sent me for an urgent MRI. He suggested that it may be a blocked submandibular gland possibly. I have night sweats, exhausted constantly etc... I had my MRI on the Friday 14th may. I spoke to the specialists secretary on the wednesday and she said the results had come back but the doctor had not looked at them yet. I rang again today and she said he had looked at them and to book an appointment. She offered me June 9th.
Now I know I shouldn't but I'm now thinking if it's not until then then it won't be bad news will it? I've always had it in my head as bad results you get seen straight away. 
has anybody had to wait for their follow up appointment and it been bad news?
