Hi.

I'm sorry to post like this but I am driving myself crazy with the dreaded google search and thought I would ask other people's experiences etc instead.

I had a lymph node removed 2 weeks ago come tomorrow. It is not a lymph node that troubles me, but they would have struggled to remove the two that do as they are under my chin/jaw and would have been difficult to get at.

I have called today to chase up results as I was told 2 weeks, but I have now been told that they will get back to me when they can as my sample has been sent to another hospital for a second opinion. I am worrying myself a little as I was expecting this lymph node to be completely clear, and surely it is not a normal process to get a second opinion on something which is clear?

Has anybody had any experiences with this? Hope I'm not waiting another 2 weeks for results now!!
