Hi, I had similar symptoms about 6 weeks ago although no itching and I was in pain. I went to the GP then referred to the breast clinic for mammogram and ultrasound. They found a mysterious lump which they drained pus from and biopsied. I found out last week that it's not cancer but some form of cold abscess. They're not sure what's caused it so I have to go back in a few weeks for a check up but so far so good; nipple back to normal and pain has vanished. I would suggest getting yours checked out by the GP, all the hospital staff were lovely and it's best to put your mind at rest. Sending positive thoughts. Clare
